Hey guys!

Sorry I'm late at updating. But I have a life you know =P So in Tuesday we had first day of classes. I started at 10am with econometrics. We we're only three people in this class! Then I had a course in investments and security analysis. This teacher uses iTunes during class. So strange! We listened to everything from classical music till Shania Twain! You could just hear in the background while he was talking; "Man I feel like a woman!" I must say that I laughed a lot in this class because of the music. Then at evening we had another class in financial management 2 with the same teacher as in investments and security analysis. So I heard a lot of Shania Twain this day, that's for sure!

So as you can imagine this was a long day at school for me. I was finish with classes at 9pm! That's so late. So I, Max and Andreas went to a BBQ downtown at 15^th. It was fun. I met a lot of new people, and some people even where in the same classes as me. So I'm sorry if I didn't remember you! When we came back from the BBQ we went to Neyoh before bedtime. I was so tired, but I still manage to wake up at 8am today.

Today were a bit boring. I had a class, but it was kinda short because the teacher didn't feel well. Then I and Max went to do an assignment. We were supposed to find a article under 1 page about international business. I found one about the US dollar who's falling now days.  Rest of the day I were mostly at the library with Morten. We read a lot today! Now I'm so tired and the time is like 10:35pm. So maybe I'm going to sleep and get a head start tomorrow instead. I only have classes from 10am to 1pm tomorrow. So that's nice. We're supposed to start the day with a discussion about statistics I think. Booooring! But I have to take that class. Good thing I had statistics before. And in the other course tomorrow we're going to make groups of three because we're going to start a stock trak. That will be fun. So if you know a good stock, just let me know and I'll check it out.

I also have to say that my roomies are so nice! I feel kinda lucky. They're pretty fun actually! And they love playing nintendo wii ;P When I'm home there's always someone playing sports or fit. Cute ;) I don't think it will be any problem at all living with these girls ;)

Good morning everyone!

I was up early today, at 07:30am actually. Anyways, yesterday it was the Orientation. It was a long day. First we were in the gym, listening to 20 people and videos who basically said "Hope you'll have a great year" for three hours! Then we played drums for like an hour. It was fun at the beginning. When we were done playing drums, there was a BBQ. And at the BBQ  I, Max and Andreas were sitting at the same table as the president of the university for a little time. He was pretty nice, and had only been the president for three months or something like that. We also met some people from PG. So they told us about the city and area around.

At the evening many international students went in the woods (where all the bears and moose are!) and lit a fire and drinking. Someone also played guitar.  It was nice! I and Andreas almost got lost on our way back, because it was so dark. But we got back at the residence, so we didn't have to sleep outside with the bears =P

Fireworks!

Quinn moved in yesterday when I was at the Orientation. But I haven't seen her yet. So I'm looking forward to that. I hear a lot of great things about her. Also, Rebecca is moving in today :) So then we're full house! It's great :)

Later on today it's a BBQ and movies. That will be fun! I have to charge for tomorrow when school starts. And it doesn't start soft. I have classes between 10am and 1pm, and 6 to 9pm! That's almost the whole day! But it will be fun meeting my classmates. The classrooms are pretty small from what I'm used to in Lillehammer. We're like 20 or 30 in each class!

I also have to say that many people can't pronounce my name, so just call me S.

So I was telling you about the floor meeting earlier. At the meeting they were telling us about different rules, like we can't play drinking games..(What's up with that?) And alcohol can't be seen in the hallway, but we can drink inside our rooms. But here's the story. They were telling us what to do in case of fire. And like an hour later the fire alarm did go off! So everybody had to get outside. It's like 11 degrees and rain outside. Brr! Anyways, who forget what to do in case of a fire in one hour? We had to wait outside for too long! It's a Saturday night.. Give me a break. Like the meeting wasn't boring enough..

These guys used too long to get here. If there had been an actual fire, the building would have burned down before they got here.


The clock is 23:15pm now. I'm going to bed. We have orientation tomorrow morning, so I'll have to get up early. It's going to be a long day, with like BBQ in the rain. Nice one.. =P

Hey everybody J

So today I?m pretty hangover.. I went to a club last night with some people from the residence. We were dancing and drinking, and it was quite fun! And the people were from everywhere, like China, Japan, Sweden, Denmark, Argentina, France, and more. Anyways, I?m going to say this one last time; I?m never going to drink tequila again! I?m getting so hangover of drinking that. Please help me God!

And today I got a roomy! Heather just moved in J She seems pretty nice! Quinn is getting here tomorrow, and Rebecca will be here on Monday. So that?s nice.

I don't know why it's like airplanes with names on the doors, but I  think it's someone from kindergarden who's bored! =P

So later today it?s like line dancing and field house games..Maybe that will cure my hangover!  Or maybe make it all worse.. I?ll find out soon! And it?s like a floor meeting at 8:30 pm later on. That sounds pretty boring! But it?s mandatory, so I guess I have to go!

I think I?m going to see if I can find any people now J So I?ll hope you guys in Norway will have a nice evening and those of you here in Prince George a good day J

Today I, Julie and Malin went to Wal-Mart to buy different stuff to our apartments, like stuff for kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. I spent like 278 Canadian dollars. So it?s quite a lot stuff =P I got my new SIM-card today, and it?s probably going to work from tomorrow. So then you can reach me at my new (Canadian) phone number. You can just contact me if you need it. I don?t have internet at this moment, just writing on word, but will get it tomorrow. So then I can copy paste this to all of you guys! I know some of you are waiting for this updates.

Before I went to town today I went to see the bookstore at UNBC. And like Jan Thomas says ?It was such a magic Hollywood moment!? They had everything with UNBC; like all sorts of clothing, notebooks, pens, usb-sticks, etc. And there were spa-stuff as well. They had so much in this store! I was just amazed. I though ?This must be heaven!? Yes, I know, I?m a nerd! My very good friend Caroline, who lives in Lillehammer at this moment, would simply love this store. I and Caroline used to go crazy buying all sorts of unnecessary stuff from this kind of shop last semester. 

I also must say that I really like this town and school. It?s so pretty! And all of the people here are so friendly. It?s no problem getting to know the people staying here. The people working here is also very nice and helpful, but they also have a pretty good sense of humor! So I just love it here. It?s not going to be hard living here till Christmas, that?s for sure! I think I could have stayed here forever or at least during all my three years left at school.

Anyways, I?m so tired, and the clock is just 8:40pm (5:40am in Norway). Think I?m just going to watch a movie before I go to sleep. You guys in Norway I suppose are getting up of bed soon! This is crazy! Good night (or morning to all of you in Norway) everybody J

After a shower we had planned to meet Max, Mike and Brandon for a cold beer and some food. But the pub we were supposed to go to were of course closed. So instead I ended up ordering pizza with Mike, Max, Stephanie, Iera, Julie and Brandon.  We also played on Nintendo Wii, where I won at bowling with my 225 points. A French guy, I think, also joined us for like a sec playing. Max where actually the best at dancing stage! Fun! At the end of the evening a new girl arrived. Her name was Malin, who?s from Sweden. I was pretty tired this night so I went to bed like 10 pm.

I met Julie at Gardermoen (which is an airport in Oslo) at 6 am before arrival. In check in I had done a foolish mistake. I though each bag could be 32 kilos, when it in fact only could weigh 23 kilos. So I had to buy a special bag for 10 kilos of clothing.

First stop where in London where we had like an hour before next boarding. We bought an adapter each, which we later found out didn?t work with or computer. If you take a close look at the power cord to your computer, you will find out that it?s pretty large from the other cords ? like the charging cord to your cell phone.

Next stop where in Vancouver.  At this airport we had little time to get on the next plane. We had to go thru a pass control, which I almost didn?t come thru because I had forgotten my student card from Lillehammer. Typical! I was like, "Give me a break; I?m only going to be here till Christmas.? Then we had to get our belongings and go thru the customs. I was not stopped here, if you wondered. I was like, ?What?? Anyways, we had to ship our luggage again, and run to the next flight. At this point I was so sick of the security controls everywhere! This one was like the fourth on the trip over from Norway. And you know, you have to take the Ipod, camera, phone, etc in one basket, your computer in another basket, your liquids in another one, and I had one bag, one pillow and a backpack. So you can see why I got sick of the security controls.

When we arrived at Prince George, we took a cab to the UNBC Campus. When we were waiting for our key we met three guys who helped us carry our luggage to our rooms. I can be lucky sometimes! ;) Their names were Max, Mike and Brandon.  Max is from Sweden, so I mostly talk Norwegian to him. And of course I had to say the phrase ?Värfor måste vi bo i fucking jævla kuk Åmål??

"Once upon a time...." The new adventure is soon to begin!

Tomorrow I'll be flying to Oslo, the capital of Norway. Check in for the flight to Canada is 5am (now we're talking about Wednesday)! Early, I know! After 20 hours I have arrived in Prince George, witch is 4pm local time (still Wednesday). So from 5 am Wednesday you can't reach me at my norwegian phone number. But you can always contact me at facebook or email, until I've got my canadian phone number. If you're lucky I'll give it to you ;) Also you can add me at skype, if you like :) You'll find me if you know me, or just ask if there's any problem :)  And of course you can follow me at this site :)

I'm really going to miss many of you guys! My friends and family! But we'll be seeing each other in only a few months! ;)

It's been 3 weeks since I wrote anything..Don't worry, it's not gonna be like this while I'm staying in Prince George! So don't miss the updates;)

It's only a few weeks to take off! Can't say how much I'm looking forward to get out of this town and take the flight to Prince George! I love to travel, and I've been in this town, called Stjørdal, for like 2 months now! It's too long! I've been here for the most of my life anyways... Not much more to see or do here. Besides many at my age are gone off to school in different cities of Norway.. And Norway isn't that small either..It's not a short ride to go see them. So here I am, writing to you all, wondering what to bring with me to my new hometown! ;)

What's up with kissing many frogs to find the Prince, when you just can move to Prince George? ;)
